It has to be built in from the first melt."

Batches that fall short of BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) specifications are held back and reworked rather than shipped, a policy the company says has kept its rejection rates low and customer complaints lower still.

Quality assurance in steel production isn't just a manufacturing checkpoint anymore; it has become a trust signal for buyers who can no longer visit every factory before placing an order. Contractors increasingly ask for test certificates and batch traceability before finalizing purchases, particularly for high-rise and infrastructure projects where structural failure carries serious consequences. Adukia Industries has responded by making its lab reports and BIS certification documents available to clients on request, a practice the company plans to formalize through digital batch tracking later this year.

The company's steel is currently used across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects in eastern India, with plans to widen distribution as demand grows. Adukia Industries said it will continue investing in testing infrastructure and staff training as part of its long-term quality strategy.
