DALLAS, TX — Daniel Gomez, Former Chief Detective as seen on TV and a licensed private investigator with more than 30 years of experience, is set to release his debut independent film, Wong Place Wong Time, on June 30, 2026. The buddy-cop action-comedy filmed in Dallas will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Google Play, and YouTube.

Produced under Gomez’s media and production company, DG Productions, the film follows private investigator Detective Gomez and his former partner, Detective Tony Denton, as they reunite to investigate a decades-old case. Their search for answers uncovers a criminal empire and a revenge plot decades in the making, leading to an action-packed showdown filled with humor, martial arts, and classic buddy-cop fun.

Before the film hits streaming platforms, Gomez will host an exclusive DFW movie premiere on Monday, June 29, 2026 at 7:30 PM at the Angelika Film Center in Dallas. The premiere will bring together fans, media, and members of the local community for a special advance screening of the film.
