ADTC Launches “Free To Dance” — A New Online Initiative to Bring World-Class Dance to Everyone

Posted October 3, 2025 by americandancetrainingcamps

American Dance Training Camps (ADTC) is proud to announce the launch of “Free To Dance”, a new free online dance program designed to make high‑quality dance instruction accessible to dancers everywhere.

In this, their 20th year of dance programming, ADTC is evolving how dance is taught and shared — pushing beyond traditional in‑person camps to create a vibrant, inclusive, and virtual dance community.

What Is Free To Dance?

Free To Dance comprises several elements, each built to foster connection, creativity, and consistency:

Free Zoom Dance Weekend Intensives — Live dance classes in multiple styles (jazz, contemporary, hip hop) taught by ADTC’s world-class choreographers.

“Free To Dance Friday” Tutorials — A weekly 1‑hour dance class delivered by email or via live stream, featuring warm-up, technique, and a fresh choreography combo.

On-Demand Free Tutorials — A library of free recorded lessons in jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and more, available to all registrants.

Monthly Themed Challenges & Self‑Growth Activities — Each month centers on a theme (e.g. “CONNECT”, “SHIFT”) with journaling prompts, movement manifesto reflections, and community-building tasks.

Free Zoom Dance Camps — Once-a-month free Zoom camps offering multiple choreographers, levels, and styles, with post‑class practice videos for continued learning.

ADTC’s goal with Free To Dance is not just teaching steps — it’s fostering confidence, expression, and connection for young dancers everywhere.

Why Free & Why Now?

ADTC’s leadership believes that dance should not be limited by geography or cost. The Free To Dance initiative is ADTC’s response to the changing landscape of learning and community in a more virtual world. It’s also their commitment to expanding access: “Life changed for all of us in 2020. Education & the activities we love are changing. We’re doing our best to ‘pivot’ and offer the best possible virtual dance experience.

Moreover, by offering free entry points into their dance ecosystem, ADTC hopes participants will eventually discover the value of deeper programs like their overnight camps and subscription-based video libraries (DanceADTC TV).

Voices from the Community

“My daughter had a wonderful 2 weeks of boot camp through ADTC … this camp has brought her a whole new level of confidence, fun, and new lessons learned.”
— Caitlin R., parent of an ADTC participant

Quotes like this reinforce ADTC’s belief that dance training is not just about performance, but about personal growth, connection, and joy.
