Lake Forest, IL – American Dance Training Camp (ADTC), a premier overnight dance camp program in the United States, is excited to announce its upcoming 2026 Illinois Dance Camp. Located in Lake Forest, just outside of Chicago, the program offers young dancers ages 8–17 an immersive summer experience combining high-level dance training with traditional camp activities.
Designed for dancers of all skill levels, the Illinois Dance Camp delivers a comprehensive daily schedule featuring four to five dance classes in styles such as contemporary, hip hop, jazz, and more. Campers are grouped by age and ability to ensure appropriate instruction, skill development, and confidence-building throughout the week.
Professional choreographers and experienced instructors lead classes and rehearsals, culminating in a fully produced end-of-week performance where dancers showcase what they have learned. In addition to intensive dance training, campers participate in classic summer camp activities including swimming, mini golf, laser tag, and team-building events, creating a well-rounded and memorable experience.
“Our Illinois Dance Camp provides a unique balance of focused dance education and traditional camp fun,” said a representative of American Dance Training Camp. “We strive to create an encouraging environment where dancers can grow artistically, build friendships, and develop confidence both on and off the stage.”
The Illinois location is ideal for families in the Chicago area and throughout the Midwest seeking a safe, structured, and inspiring overnight summer program centered around dance.
Registration for the 2026 Illinois Dance Camp is now open. Families are encouraged to secure their spots early as sessions fill quickly.
