Cullowhee, NC (September 2025) – American Dance Training Camps (ADTC) is thrilled to announce the continuation of its ULTIMATE Smoky Mountains, NC Dance Camp at Western Carolina University. Set against the backdrop of the Great Smoky Mountains, this immersive overnight experience offers young dancers an electrifying blend of dance, camaraderie, and outdoor fun.

Unforgettable Dance Experience
From Monday to Friday, campers engage in 4–5 daily dance classes taught by seasoned professional choreographers. Core disciplines include contemporary, hip hop, and jazz (with styles like Broadway and lyrical often featured), complemented by electives such as ballet, tap, and world dance. Campers are grouped by age and ability to ensure an enriching learning environment—and the week culminates in a high-energy Friday Night Show showcasing their performances.

A Campus to Call Home
Hosted on the beautiful Western Carolina University campus—just an hour west of Asheville—campers stay in double-occupancy rooms with private bathrooms. ADTC staff reside on each floor, ensuring 24-hour supervision and support. Between dance sessions, campers can relax in community lounges, do arts and crafts, or grab snacks and souvenirs at the Dance Canteen.

More Than Just Dance
The camp experience extends well beyond the studio. Participants can enjoy optional activities such as horseback riding, tubing, swimming, rock wall climbing, trampolines, escape rooms, rafting, bowling, and girls’ night out, among others.

Exceptional Staff, Inspirational Mentors
ADTC’s NC camp is led by a diverse and accomplished team of choreographers and instructors. Highlights include:

Ashley Peter, a NYC-based dance educator and choreographer with credits ranging from Disney to Broadway projects;

Eileen Boyle, a contemporary and jazz specialist and longtime ADTC Program Director, dedicated to fostering an inclusive dance community;

Delight Moore, founder of Dancing With Delight LLC and passionate educator whose expertise spans multiple dance styles.
