AL Islam Travels, a UK-based Hajj and Umrah travel agency, has introduced a new range of Family Hajj Packages aimed at pilgrims travelling with children, elderly relatives, or extended family groups.

The packages are built around keeping family members in adjoining or nearby rooms rather than splitting groups across separate gender-based accommodation blocks, which is common practice with standard group packages. Each package includes return flights from the UK, Hajj visa processing, hotel accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, ground transport between the holy sites, and a guide to support pilgrims through each stage of the rites.

The agency said the change responds to a recurring concern among UK pilgrims booking as families, who often find that standard packages separate them from older relatives or young children during transfers and accommodation allocation.

"Families travelling for Hajj want reassurance that they will be looked after as a unit, not split up between buses and hotel floors," said a spokesperson for AL Islam Travels. "Our family packages are built around keeping that group together from the airport through to the final days in Makkah."

The Family Hajj Packages include additional support for elderly or less mobile relatives, including shorter walking distances to shuttle pick-up points where available, and guidance staff briefed on assisting older pilgrims through the physically demanding stages of the pilgrimage.

As with all UK Hajj bookings, packages are processed through the official Nusuk platform, and operators must appear on the Council of British Hajjis UK (CBHUK) approved list. AL Islam Travels also holds ATOL protection, which safeguards funds paid by travellers should the operating agency cease trading before departure.

Family Hajj Packages are now open for booking for the upcoming season, with early registration recommended due to limited group allocations.
