As senior executive at the Ava Care Health Group Global, she drove operational development of human capital in the Group's 18 subsidiaries across the 12 African countries, the UAE, India and Kazakhstan. Deepa was also assessor for Saïd Business School, University of Oxford for Oxford Executive Leadership Programme from September 2018 to August 2025. Her executive assessment and developmental feedback expertise works well in conjunction with her leadership and organisation development work.

Kennedy University granted her a Peace Ambassadorship and a doctorate honoris causa with a focus on Strategic Management and Leadership and Organisational Psychology in 2026. She has completed an MSc in Organisational Psychology from the University of London.
