Her BDO work included leadership development, talent management, succession planning and employee engagement. She was an assessor of the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford from September 2018 to August 2025.

She learned other lessons in adapting from her entrepreneurial experience. Bakeology Studio, started by Deepa in 2019 and launched in 2020, evolved from a skills-based business into a diversified enterprise with a retail reach of up to four outlets. Lessons learned through this business included business planning, customer experience, resource planning and process improvement.

Her ongoing work through Altius Global Advisory remains with the principles of organisational effectiveness and human capability – knowing that organisations will sustain performance in the medium term if they learn and adapt to change.

In 2026, she received an Honorary Doctorate & Peace Ambassador from Kennedy University.
