Amb. Dr. Witney Emmanuel Laizer applying an interdisciplinary academic and professional background to debate issues of business, healthcare management, sustainability and contemporary organisational development.

Laizer's career has evolved via various roles including sales and marketing, administration of finance, accountancy, billing, collection, reporting of financial results and business analysis. As a Senior Billing & Collection Administrator at Macrogen Europe BV, her responsibilities have been administration of billing, monitoring accounts, following up on payments, collection of funds and administration of finance. Previous roles in the Netherlands also included accounting, reconciliation, reporting and corporate administration.

Her knowledge of business subjects has been an additional advantage for her growth. She has obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics &Finance Management at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences and her MBA degree from the University of the People. She then continued her journey to the PhD in Business, Management, Public Health & Sustainability.

Her PhD is about sustainability in German healthcare services with a particular emphasis on resource use, innovation, digitalisation, waste management and engagement with stakeholders. Her PhD takes into account that the sustainable health care system goes beyond the clinical issues. It also concerns management systems, financial resources, technology, people and strategic organisational planning.

A strengthening of her interest in applying cutting edge analytical tools for the workplace and research was complemented by her Data Analytics Programme at Ironhack. With her business and public health background, she is developing a profile based on reason and hands-on experience.
