Amb. Dr. Witney Emmanuel Laizer is expanding her global private sector expertise to a personal learning journey at GlobalX Publications.

Miriam's prior roles include finance administration at Greenlane, accounting training at Alter Domus, finance administration at Delta Electronics and sales and marketing at Wittenborg University. These gave her hands-on experience in financial processes, organisational administration, reporting, customer interaction and international business.

Her academic journey has grown in parallel to her professional experience. She received her PhD in Business, Management, Public Health & Sustainability at the Selinus University. Witney holds an MBA at University of the People and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics & Finance Management at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences.

Her doctoral project focuses on sustainability in health care services in Germany. The project looks at aspects like sustainable health care management, resource use, innovation, digitalisation, waste management, and cooperation between the key stakeholders.

Witney also completed some training in data analytics, which sparked her passion for using analytical and data-driven thinking to solve organisational issues.

She is working at an international publishing company, GlobalX Publications, where she can combine her academic and professional experience.

Her experience is an example of how expertise learned via her work in finance and business can support her more general research interests in health, sustainability and the development of organisations.
