The career of Ambassador Dr. Witney Emmanuel Laizer shows how a financial and business background can evolve into other academic interests such as sustainability, healthcare and public management.

Witney's work in GlobalX Publications is a way of connecting her professional life with her areas of academic interest as a researcher and author.

She has also worked abroad, in Tanzania and the Netherlands. She has held various positions related to sales, marketing, financial administration, accounting, billing, collections and reporting, and business operations over the years.

Currently, Witney is a Senior Billing & Collection Administrator at Macrogen Europe BV, where she is involved in billing processes, account monitoring, payment follow-up, collections, financial administration and reporting.

She has also worked in the fields of finance administration at Greenlane, accounting training at Alter Domus, finance administration at Delta Electronics, and sales and marketing at Wittenborg University. These roles provided experience to gain a practical knowledge of financial systems and organisational operations.

She grew in her academic career as she grew in her practice. Witney obtained a PhD in Business, Management, Public Health & Sustainability from Selinus University during her doctoral studies from 2023 to 2025. She also has an MBA degree from the University of the People as well as an Economics and Finance Management BBA from Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences.

Her doctoral studies are on sustainability issues and opportunities in healthcare services in Germany. It covers resource management, sustainable healthcare management, innovation, digitalisation, waste management and stakeholder cooperation.

She has also built expertise in data analytics, in support of her passion for data-informed solutions to organisational and sustainability problems.

These mixed areas of experience are presented for the first time in her GlobalX Publications trip.
