ST. PETERSBURG, Florida - Roosevelt International University (RIU) today is calling attention to its ongoing initiatives to create adaptable educational paths for students seeking a higher education and career.

As education develops the student is more aware of the need for a learning experience to suit their work and personal life commitments in relationship to their overarching plans. RIU desires to meet this demand with education programs in undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, ministry, theology and leadership.

The University, located in St. Petersburg, Florida, understands that accessibility is coupled with transparent academic standards and systemic service. In addition to the information about program requirements, admissions, study modes and the nature of the credentials students seek.

This is according to the RIU's ongoing institutional priorities, namely: academic administration, student services, academic staff and quality-assurance practices. These institutional priorities are in line with its overarching aim of creating a learning environment with transparent communication and innovative enhancement.

The university also encourages potential students to learn about the state of higher education in Florida. The Commission for Independent Education, an office within the Florida Department of Education, has oversight of independent postsecondary institutions. State authorization, religious exemptions, and accreditation are separate issues, and the status of an institution and program must be checked by the student.

RIU, through ongoing development, intends to strengthen its academic systems and assist learners with diverse educational appetites and career aspirations. It adopts a policy of accountable management as well as providing information and professional learning opportunities.

Students who want to learn more about the currently offered programs and campus life will find the university's published listing of academic programs and other information useful prior to enrollment.
