Roosevelt International University (RIU) is striving to be more accessible and international during its ongoing institutional development in Florida.
Pupils are looking at education opportunities that are further away from their local area more and more. Flexibility in academic support, such as digital learning, may enable learners to access academic support and manage work, family and other commitments.
RIU's objectives are to provide opportunities for students to pursue a variety of academic interests and careers, from undergraduate and graduate through doctoral and ministry, as well as theological and leadership related courses. It focuses on its educational approach, which is characterised by the acquisition of knowledge, the development of skills of critical thinking and the skills that can contribute to further professional development.
There are a number of factors that are important when deciding on a university for international students. A student's decision might be affected by program requirements, teaching arrangements, academic expectations, and qualifications recognition and institutional status. Good, and easily accessible information enables potential students to make better decisions about educational opportunities.
Transparency and responsible institutional administration are some of the areas that RIU considers important in its development. It focuses on enhancing students' communication, the learning process, faculty engagement and quality assurance.
The Florida Department of Education (DOE) is responsible for higher education, and under the Florida Statutes, has a statutory role to manage the Commission for Independent Education (CIE). The distinction between state licensing, exemption status and accreditation is a separate issue and prospective students must check to see where the institution is licensed, if it is exempt and the status of the program of interest.
RIU is moving forward to further enhance its institutional development and progress while keeping an eye on academic administration and student support in international education development.
The university will encourage interested students to read the official information about the program and the university's disclosures about it before making enrollment decisions. These tools can assist students in figuring out what they are available and what they are able to do to decide what’s next for their education.
