Roosevelt International University (RIU) is celebrating its continued progress to build its institution and enhance its commitment to affordable higher education and responsible academic growth.

Headquartered in St. Petersburg, FL, RIU seeks to provide education to students of all professional and academic backgrounds and from all over the United States and the world. It has a growing range of undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, ministry and theological/leadership courses.

The university has identified that the expansion of the university's academic programs is not enough for it to grow. A well-supported learning environment is characterised by effective administration, transparent policies, academic processes that are appropriate and reliable student services.

RIU is committed to ongoing refinement and improvement of academic administration, faculty involvement, communication with students and quality assurance activities. These priorities are designed to assist in the smooth running of the institutions and to help the students appreciate their education journeys.

RIU is also aware of the need for transparency on institutional status. The Florida Department of Education (DOE) has the Commission for Independent Education under its auspices, which has duties related to independent postsecondary education institutions. Different from regulatory authorization, students should check the official information on accreditation prior to enrollment.

RIU aims to facilitate students aiming for academic growth, leadership and lifelong learning through flexible learning opportunities. The university's philosophy is that students are more and more seeking opportunities to learn while working and developing new career goals.

Future plans include developing a future agenda for RIU to continue its institutional developments which will involve further reflection on the academic systems, student support systems and administrative processes. Its general goal is to incorporate accessibility, responsibility and open communication.
