Serving as the MUN Head for Westford MUN 2025 has truly been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my journey at Westford. This year, we set out with the goal of making the conference bigger, better, and more impactful, and I’m proud to say, we achieved exactly that. The MUN conference included five active committees which operated as NATO and UN Women and UNHRC and UNSC and GA1.
The committees dealt with worldwide problems of global importance through diplomatic processes that maintained respectful dialogue. The external participation for the first time brought exceptional results because we brought in delegates from multiple educational institutions to enhance the discussion quality.
The 107 delegates who joined this year represent the significant growth we have achieved. The Westford delegates showed their deep commitment to the MUN by joining forces with external participants to build an engaging conference experience.
The success of our event depended on our 36-member Core Team which became our biggest team yet. The entire event success depended on the Core Team members who worked tirelessly with creative spirit and determination. Our success reached new heights because of the financial backing we received from our sponsors.
The conference experience became more enjoyable because of the sponsorship support from Indomie and Fudge Point and Al Haramain Perfumes and Hershey’s and Emily Chill and Lemon Tree and Romana Waters and a local biryani restaurant. I want to thank Saad for his outstanding leadership as Secretary-General because his support made Westford MUN 2025 achieve its goals.
The event served as a tribute to student leadership and diplomatic skills and initiative. The experience of leading this initiative brought me an honor which I will keep forever. For more visit: https://www.mywestford.com/
