As part of its commitment to improving safety and service standards, ASTON Pasteur Hotel Bandung organized a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid training session in collaboration with Team 119 of the Bandung City Health Department. The event also involved Archipelago staff in the Bandung area as part of efforts to enhance preparedness for emergency situations within the hotel.

This training includes theoretical and practical sessions designed to equip participants with a basic understanding of first aid for emergency situations, such as sudden illness, accidents, and the proper procedures for contacting emergency medical services. Through these sessions, staff are expected to be able to respond quickly and appropriately in critical situations.

During the practical session, participants had the opportunity to learn CPR techniques firsthand, both manually and with the aid of medical equipment. In addition, the training included simulations of how to handle guests who have suffered an accident, including procedures for safely and efficiently evacuating unconscious guests from their rooms to an ambulance.

The training was led by an experienced instructor from the Bandung City Health Department, Dr. Vavan, who provided technical guidance and support throughout the session. The interactive approach used in the training enabled all participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of the material.

General Manager ASTON Pasteur Hotel Bandung, Rennie Sandia, stated that this training is a strategic step toward ensuring the safety and comfort of guests and employees. “We believe that the readiness of our staff to handle emergency situations is an essential part of the exceptional service we provide,” she said.
