In an effort to enhance employee preparedness and response capabilities in emergency situations, particularly fires, ASTON Pasteur Hotel conducted a fire drill training session attended by all employees. This training is part of the hotel’s commitment to creating a safe, responsive, and professional work environment.

The event lasted three days and was divided into theoretical and hands-on sessions. On the first day, participants received training on the basics of fire hazards, emergency response procedures, and an introduction to various types of fire extinguishers. This session was designed to build a solid foundation of knowledge before moving on to the practical phase.

Over the next two days, employees participated in hands-on training sessions. During these sessions, participants learned firsthand how to extinguish fires using various methods, such as wet blankets, dry chemical powder fire extinguishers, and carbon dioxide (CO₂) extinguishers. The training was conducted under close supervision to ensure that every participant was able to apply the techniques correctly and safely.

This training was led by experienced instructors, Mr. Rohman and Mr. Muhammad Iskandar, who provided both instructional materials and intensive guidance throughout the program. This combination of theory and practice is expected to boost employees’ confidence in handling real-life emergency situations.
