Geneva (September 10, 2025) – SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, has published an article reporting on the official signing of a new product conformity assessment (PCA) contract with the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Ivory Coast, on June 18, 2025.

This five-year agreement came into force on July 1, 2025. It follows on immediately from the previous contract held by SGS, which had been in effect since September 2017, and marks the company’s commitment to supporting the Ivory Coast’s expanding trade landscape.

A link to the current list of regulated products is provided in the article. This list will remain unchanged until June 2026, after which additional categories will be gradually added to the program, beginning in July 2026.

This renewed collaboration reaffirms SGS’s longstanding commitment to supporting the Ivory Coast through its PCA services, which include pre-shipment physical inspections, sampling, testing and analysis, manufacturing process audits, document verification and conformity assessments against relevant standards.
