ROCKVILLE, MD: Caring Hands Animal Hospital, Rockville, welcomes Dr. Madison Warner, DVM, to its veterinary team. A Bethesda, Maryland native returning to the region she grew up in, Dr. Warner brings clinical interests in preventive care, cardiology, fear-free handling, and surgery to the Rockville practice.
Dr. Warner earned three undergraduate degrees in Biology, Political Science, and Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech.
Dr. Warner's professional interests span preventive care, cardiology, and surgery, with a particular focus on fear-free handling. As a Shelter Medicine Fear Free certified veterinarian, she has trained in techniques that reduce anxiety and stress for animals during examinations and procedures. Her goal at every appointment is to combine attentive, individualized medicine with an experience that keeps patients relaxed and comfortable.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Warner is an avid horseback rider and spends much of her free time volunteering with local animal rescue organizations. She has also traveled internationally to support animal welfare efforts abroad. At home, she shares her time with a cat named Babka and a horse named Topper.
Dr. Warner's arrival adds another layer to Caring Hands Animal Hospital, Rockville's approach to care, which is built around openness and transparency. The hospital's open treatment areas and windows into its surgical suites are designed so that pet owners can see what is happening with their pet at every step.
