Raised in a musically inclined family, Jessica Kahal received constant encouragement from her parents to pursue her passion for music. From an early age, she showed strong dedication to mastering her instrument, spending years refining her technique well before reaching high school.
As a member of her high school orchestra, Jessica earned the opportunity to perform in the winter concert at the renowned Armstrong Theater. The program featured both the Chamber Orchestra and the Symphonic Orchestra, presenting a diverse and challenging repertoire. Highlights included the Theme from Forrest Gump, Schumann’s Symphony No. 1, Movement IV, and Mozart’s Flute Concerto in D Major, Movement I, allowing Jessica to demonstrate her technical range and musical depth.
Her performance experience expanded further when she toured with her school’s choir, Varsity Voices, visiting major cultural cities such as Washington, D.C., New York City, and Philadelphia. In addition, Jessica was a member of the Women’s Jazz Chorus, Here Comes Treble, and performed at the Kennedy Center following a special invitation—an experience that marked a significant milestone in her early career.
Jessica Kahal has since performed across the globe in an impressive variety of genres, including jazz, pop, chamber music, orchestral works, and classical solo performances. Driven by curiosity and creativity, she has also created her own arrangements of well-known compositions. Her engaging stage presence and musical adaptability have led to invitations to perform at numerous special events and occasions.
