Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, 9 October 2026: Chie Design, one of the luxury interior designing firms in Mumbai, provides outsourced interior design services to real estate developers and to Indian and international design practices, taking on design coordination, documentation and drawing work for projects those firms are running.
The service is aimed at teams that have won more work than their in-house staff can draw. Rather than recruiting and training designers for a peak, a developer or practice can hand Chie Design defined packages of work, from design coordination across consultants to full documentation sets. The studio's own project sequence runs from concept and design development through project specifications, bills of quantities and tender documentation, to site supervision and handover, and outsourced clients can take any stage of that sequence.
"Most design studios are short of hands in the documentation stage, not in ideas," said Mithila S., Founder and Principal, Chie Design. "The concept is done, the client is happy, and then there are four hundred drawings between that and a site that can start. That is the part we can take off a firm's desk, to its standards, so the project does not stall waiting for a hire."
Chie Design has worked in luxury residential, hospitality and mixed-use interior design for clients in India and abroad, including a private villa in Doha, Qatar, and runs projects across Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Goa and Qatar. It works remotely with clients outside Mumbai and outside India.
Firms and developers can discuss scope for outsourced interior design services with the studio's Prabhadevi office.
