A noodle manufacturer located in the Waegwan Industrial Complex in Chilgok-gun, Gyeongbuk, continues to strengthen its domestic and global presence through steady product development. Established in 2000 on a 3,030㎡ site with an 819.1㎡ facility, the company initially produced somyeon exclusively for export to Japan. In 2004, it expanded into the Korean market as demand for premium noodles grew.
The company formed an industry–academia partnership with Daegu Haany University to focus on developing functional noodles. This collaboration led to two patented products: Green Tea Somyeon, made with wild green tea from Jirisan’s Hwagae region, and Black Rice Noodles, enriched with nutritious black rice. Both products reflect the company’s commitment to healthier, high-quality noodles.
With ISO 9001:2008 certification applied to its production system, the company maintains strict quality control. Its specialty noodles are also sold through the Korea Post “Post Office Shopping” platform as a recognized local product of Chilgok-gun.
