How does a city decide which lighting system to trust for its streets, parks, and public spaces? That question comes up again and again for municipalities, developers, and property managers who want dependable light without a constant strain on their budget. Traditional lighting setups rely on buried wiring and a steady pull from the local grid, which means higher installation costs and slower repairs whenever something goes wrong. Solar-based systems offer a different path, storing daylight and releasing it after dark without any connection to the grid at all. That shift is changing how communities plan lighting projects.

Clearworld Lighting Systems bring that idea to life through RetroFlex, a patented vertical solar wrap that fits around new or existing poles. Flexible panels capture sunlight throughout the day, store it in a lithium battery, and power an LED light head through the night. The vertical design sheds dust and rain naturally, keeping output steady over time. Because the system needs no trenching or cabling, installation moves faster and costs less than a wired setup. Each pole works on its own, so lighting stays on even when the surrounding grid loses power.

They has specialized in outdoor solar LED lighting for 15 years, working with the transportation department, utility companies, telecom companies, as well as tribal and governmental agencies throughout the country. The patented vertical solar wrap technology drives all of their activities, based on five core values that are termed C.L.E.A.R., which means customer commitment, leadership, error-proofing, accountability, and resilience. In addition to one lamp, their offerings range from Smart Poles with camera and connectivity, a unique controller, Lighting as a Service without capital cost, and event/training mobile trailer.

Clearworld Lighting Systems give cities, campuses, and developers a dependable way to light streets, parking areas, and public spaces without waiting on grid expansion.
