KANSAS CITY, Mo. | October 2026

Transcendent Software is introducing CoffeeBreak, a platform for people building software with AI, alongside Launch Check, its first product. Launch Check reviews applications for potential issues before they reach real users. The first report is free.

Tools such as Cursor, Claude, Lovable, Bolt and Replit have made it easier to turn an idea into a working application. But a successful demo does not show what happens when a connection drops, someone enters unexpected information or sensitive data is exposed.

A Second Look Before Launch
Launch Check examines areas including security, architecture, reliability, data exposure, testing and maintainability. Its report is intended to meet builders where they are: accessible explanations for less technical users and more detailed findings for experienced developers. Reports can be exported as Markdown, allowing builders to take findings back into the AI coding tools they already use.

The goal is to help independent builders, startups and small teams identify concerns and decide what to investigate or fix. A review is not a guarantee that an application is secure or ready for every situation.

What Comes Next
CoffeeBreak is also developing a workflow connecting Launch Check findings to Mission Control, where builders will be able to organize and work through follow-up tasks on the platform. That fuller workflow is still in development.

Built in the Kansas City Tech Community
CoffeeBreak was developed by Kansas City-area technology company Transcendent Software, which works in software engineering, modernization, integration and automation. The company and its founder, Jacob Dubin, were recently featured in a KC Tech Council member spotlight: https://www.kctechcouncil.com/news/4x4-transcendent-software/.
