DevIntern launches AI development suite that takes work from raw idea to merged pull request

The two-tool agentic suite, @devintern/pm and @devintern/code, runs inside Jira, GitHub, and Bitbucket, brings teams' own AI provider keys, and opens a path for non-technical teammates to ship real code.

DevIntern, an agentic development suite for engineering teams, launched today in early access. It compresses the cycle from raw idea to merged pull request by running two cooperating tools, @devintern/pm and @devintern/code, inside the trackers and repos teams already use, with no migration required. Unlike most AI developer tooling, the suite ships as a one-time perpetual license rather than a per-seat subscription.

The premise is that AI has made writing code fast, but everything around it still takes hours per ticket. Drafting the spec. Opening the PR. Replying to review nits. Keeping the tracker in sync. That overhead is where the productivity gains from AI tooling evaporate. DevIntern absorbs the cycle so the speed AI already gives engineers turns into shipped tickets instead of faster keystrokes.

@devintern/pm turns rough task descriptions, a paragraph of notes, a design, or a bug report into well-specced tickets engineers can actually start from.

@devintern/code picks those tickets up, implements them with the team's AI agent of choice, self-reviews its own diffs before a human sees them, and responds to reviewer comments on the resulting PR automatically. Both tools plug into existing workflows including Jira, Linear, Trello, Asana, Azure DevOps, GitHub Issues, GitHub, and Bitbucket, and run either locally on a developer's laptop or unattended on a server to drain the backlog around the clock.

A secondary effect is who can now ship code. By absorbing the cycle from raw input to draft PR, the suite opens a path for non-technical teammates, including product managers, designers, founders, and support engineers, to land real features end-to-end without waiting on engineering bandwidth.

DevIntern is available now in early access at devintern.com, with seat-based perpetual licenses starting at $79 for @devintern/pm and $179 for @devintern/code, volume-discounted from five seats up. Optional server addons bundle scheduled ticket pickup and webhook-driven PR-review handling for backlog automation. A 14-day free trial is available with no credit card required.
