Quantova, a post-quantum Layer-1 blockchain network, today published the technical specifications for its cross-chain bridge architecture, which connects the Quantova network to Ethereum, BNB Chain, TRON, and other major networks using cryptographic security models designed to remain intact against both classical and quantum
attacks. The specifications are included in the public release of Quantova's Developer Documentation v1.0 and GitHub repository.
Cross-chain bridges have become the highest-value attack surface in decentralised finance, with more than two billion dollars lost to bridge exploits since 2021. Most existing bridge architectures rely on multi-signature schemes or validator sets secured by classical elliptic curve cryptography — systems that quantum computing research has identified as long-term vulnerabilities. As assets increasingly move across blockchain networks, the cryptographic integrity of the bridges carrying them becomes a systemic concern for the broader industry.
"A blockchain can be post-quantum at the protocol level and still be exposed through its bridges. We designed the bridge layer with the same threat model as the rest of the stack — quantum resistance is not optional at the perimeter."
— Founder, Quantova
Quantova's bridge architecture applies differentiated trust models by network. Connections to Ethereum and BNB Chain operate as trustless bridges: cryptographic state proofs and light client verification replace reliance on a trusted intermediary or validator set. Cross-chain proofs are generated using RISC Zero STARK proof systems, producing verification-ready outputs compatible with destination chains. The TRON bridge operates under a federated model requiring a supermajority of validators. All bridge security within the Quantova network is secured by the same post-quantum signature schemes governing the broader protocol — Dilithium, Falcon, and
SPHINCS+.
The bridge architecture documentation is publicly available as part of Quantova's Developer Documentation v1.0 at quantova.org and github.com/Quantova. Bridge integration is supported through the Quantova SDK. The network is approaching its public testnet phase, at which point cross-chain bridge connections will be open for developer testing. Further timelines will be announced.
About Quantova
Quantova is a post-quantum Layer-1 blockchain network building quantum-resistant infrastructure for decentralised systems. The protocol implements NIST-standardized post-quantum cryptographic algorithms across its full stack — account signatures, validator consensus, threshold encryption, and cross-chain bridge security. Source code and technical documentation are available at quantova.org and github.com/Quantova under a source-available license.
