Singer-songwriter/producer Aaron Kaye unveils Wish You Were Here, a 10-track, 29-minute
debut fusing sleek pop/R&B production with emotive storytelling. Highlights include “Be My
Lover” (feat. Felton Pilate II & Scorp Dezel), “Feels Good” (feat. Mo Burner & Deila Sings), and the
title track featuring April J and Calvin The II; the set closes with “Paint By Numbers (feat. Emma
Mae).”
Kaye leads production, background vocals, and cover art. The album was co-written and
engineered with Felton Pilate—a founding member of Con Funk Shun and a key collaborator
behind MC Hammer’s multi-platinum era—bringing classic R&B craftsmanship to Kaye’s modern
sound. Scorp Dezel, the L.A. producer/songwriter with credits spanning Swae Lee, French
Montana (feat. Chris Brown), Joyner Lucas (feat. Young Thug), Jacob Latimore, and more, adds
contemporary punch and polish.
Executive produced by Richard Johnson, CEO of EyeJoy Publishing, which also manages Kaye
