Tashkent State University of Law offers double-degree programs

Tashkent State University of Law currently offers high-quality joint degree programs in cooperation with leading universities around the world.

 
Tashkent State University of Law is proud to announce the launch of its new international joint-degree education program in collaboration with leading higher-education institutions from the United Kingdom, Japan, Poland and India. Under recently signed agreements between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and foreign partner universities, the program is designed to educate future legal professionals and award graduates with qualifications recognized in the partner countries.

A. Partner Universities & Programs:

1. Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL) & University of London (United Kingdom)
Program: LLB (Bachelor’s Degree)
Description: This joint program, the first of its kind in Central Asia, enables students to earn both a TSUL diploma and an internationally recognized LLB degree from the University of London.
Benefit: Access to a prestigious British degree at an affordable cost — USD 4,500 per year.

2. TSUL & Nagoya University of Economics (Japan)
Program: LLB (Bachelor’s Degree)
Description: A 2 + 2 model: 2 years study at TSUL and 2 years at Nagoya University of Economics. Upon graduation, students receive two diplomas — one Uzbek and one Japanese.
Benefit: Students studying in Japan may receive a monthly scholarship of up to 100,000 Japanese Yen.
Tuition: USD 4,000 (TSUL) / USD 4,700 (NUE).

3. TSUL & University of Gdańsk (Poland)
Program: Master’s Degree (Double Degree)
Specializations: Financial Legal Monitoring; Environmental and Natural Resources Law
Description: A 1 + 1 program: one year at TSUL and one year at the University of Gdańsk. Graduates receive two EU-recognized diplomas and are trained according to EU legal standards in financial and environmental law.
Benefit: Educational experience combined with rich cultural exposure and professional networking in Europe. Tuition: EUR 3,500.

4. TSUL & National Forensic Sciences University (India)
Program: LLM (1-Year Master’s Degree)
Specialization: Cybercrime Law and Digital Forensics
Description: A 6 + 6 model: six months study in India followed by six months in Tashkent. The curriculum offers intensive training in cybercrime law, forensic practice and digital evidence procedures.
Benefit: Hands-on experience in forensic labs and international legal settings; graduates earn a double degree. Tuition: USD 1,500 per semester. Accommodation is provided in India.

B. Admission Process:
The selection process is held in two stages:
Stage 1: Language test or interview. For the London/Nagoya programs: English proficiency assessment. For other programs: tests in Russian and social studies.
Stage 2: All programs: assessment of Russian language proficiency administered by the relevant educational authority.

C. Required application documents:

Passport or ID card
Birth certificate
Education certificate: e.g., 11th grade certificate, or college/technical school diploma for 3-year programs
Photograph (3 × 4 cm)
