What are wet wipes?

Soon after, big companies like Kimberly-Clark and Procter & Gamble started making a lot of wipes, first for restaurants and tourists. By the 1990s, supermarket chains had made store-brand wipes cheaper, which made them more popular. Over time, wipes went from being useful for traveling to being an everyday item that everyone needs, especially for taking care of babies.
