Meet the Doctors:
Dr. Angie Haag-Eggenberger, DVM & Co-Owner
“I enjoy being able to offer clients a quality of medicine you don’t see everywhere,” says Dr. Angie Haag-Eggenberger. A 2005 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Haag-Eggenberger joined the practice in 2011. She is a member of the ISVMA, AVMA, and AAHA, and is actively involved with the Livingston County Humane Society.
Known for her dedication to continuous learning, Dr. Haag-Eggenberger uses the latest techniques and treatments to deliver top-tier medical care. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason, their two daughters, Addison and Emma, and their pets—two Saint Bernards, Jewel and Pearl, and a three-legged cat named Sherman.
Dr. Abigail Winebaugh, DVM
“My story is kind of the cliché version of I always wanted to be a vet,” shares Dr. Abigail Winebaugh. Growing up surrounded by animals—from rabbits and chickens to dogs and horses—she knew early on that veterinary medicine was her calling.
Dr. Winebaugh earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama (Huntsville) and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing her clinical training at Mississippi State University. Her special interests include behavior, acupuncture, and small animal surgery. She is also Fear-Free Certified, ensuring a calm and stress-free environment for pets. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, sewing, and hiking with her dog, Bandit.
