State Health, Medical and Family Welfare department, Telangana on Thursday announced enhancing a total of 971 seats in paramedical courses including newly announced courses.
Meanwhile diploma in paramedics will be offered for new courses including Dental Hygienist, Dental Technician, Dialysis technician, Respiratory Therapy Technician, Medical Lab Technician, Medical Sterilization Technician, Emergency paramedical technician, Micro Surgery Technician, AudioMetre Technician, Hearing Language and Speech Therapy, Hospital Food Service and Management, Multi Purpose Health Assistant and Electrocardiogram.
These courses together have been allotted 610 seats while 261 seats have been enhanced in existing courses. All the seats have been allotted to Osmania, Kakatiya, Gandhi, Mahbubnagar, Nizamabad, Siddipet Medical Colleges, ENT Hospital, MNJ Cancer Hospital and Government Chest Hospital.
