A new website essentialnyc.xyz has been created to help New York City residents who are business owners to determine if their business is considered essential as per Executive Order 202.6. The website has a simple search interface which allows users to enter a search term and checks the list of essential businesses outlined in the executive order. The site was created because there was no easy way to find out if a business is considered essential. The site is free to use and will be updated as NY on Pause moves forward.
