Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives, in partnership with Music in Paradise, has confirmed an exceptional line-up of internationally acclaimed Australian artists for its highly anticipated 2026 concert series. With demand already soaring, several concert weeks are now sold out or approaching full capacity, reinforcing the resort’s reputation as one of the world’s most intimate and exclusive live-music destinations.
The 2026 Music in Paradise programme will feature a range of celebrated Australian performers across multiple week-long island residencies. Each event combines beachfront performances, luxury island accommodation and unique fan experiences, offering guests an unforgettable blend of music and tropical escape.
The Cat Empire will kick off the series from 17–24 May 2026. The multi-award-winning jazz-funk band will perform three sunset beach concerts, bringing their energetic fusion of jazz, funk, ska, Latin and reggae to the island. Only a small number of Beach Houses remain available for this week.
Missy Higgins will return from 13–20 June 2026 after her hugely successful 2025 debut at the resort. The beloved singer-songwriter will perform three exclusive sunset concerts across the resort’s beachfront and rooftop venues, along with intimate meet-and-greet moments with fans.
One of Australia’s most iconic bands, ICEHOUSE, will perform from 5–12 September 2026. The event has already sold out, with frontman Iva Davies hosting special fan interactions during the week-long tropical music celebration limited to just 250 guests.
The final event in the series will feature acclaimed vocalist Kate Miller-Heidke from 3–10 October 2026. Known for her extraordinary vocal range and captivating performances, the artist will deliver a unique residency blending pop, folk and operatic influences.

Each Music in Paradise concert week is limited to approximately 250 guests, ensuring an intimate atmosphere where fans can experience live performances up close. Concerts take place across stunning venues including Surf Beach, Main Beach and the resort’s rooftop Sunset Bar, along with curated island activities and special artist interactions.
