CT Finesse, rising St. Louis recording artist, prepares for his performance at Family MC's 18th Annual Celebration and the release of his new single, "How to Be a Player."

ST. LOUIS, MO — June 2026 — St. Louis recording artist CT Finesse is continuing his rise in the Midwest music scene as he prepares to take the stage at Family MC's 18th Annual Celebration on June 19 while introducing his upcoming single, "How to Be a Player," inspired by the cult-classic fi lm of the same name.
Blending humor, confidence, and personal experiences, "How to Be a Player" delivers CT Finesse's contemporary perspective on relationships and self-growth. The release highlights his signature storytelling style and his ability to transform cultural influences into relatable music for today's listeners.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, CT Finesse has built his music career on authenticity and transparency. Influenced by artists including Kevin Gates, Lil Durk, and Meek Mill, he uses music as an outlet to share stories rooted in real-life experiences, family struggles, personal growth, and the realities of life in his hometown.
In 2018, CT Finesse and his cousin, Boss Homey Hero, formed the rap duo Boss Homeys. Together, they released several records, including "Fleek" and "All Gas No Brakes," and opened for Kodak Black at The Pageant in St. Louis in 2019. Following the passing of Boss Homey Hero in 2021, CT Finesse vowed to continue the vision they had created together.
That promise led to the release of projects including "Birth of a Bastard" and "Bosshomey Way (Heroes Never Die)," a tribute to his late cousin and musical partner. Since then, he has continued expanding his catalog and establishing himself as one of St. Louis' emerging independent voices.
Away from the studio, CT Finesse balances music with fatherhood and uses his platform to document fitness, family, and everyday life. Following the loss of his daughter's mother in late 2025, he has remained committed to using music as a source of healing and encouragement. His openness about grief, family challenges, and perseverance has resonated with fans who connect with his message of resilience.
Known for his motto, "Focus on your motion," CT Finesse encourages listeners to remain committed to their goals regardless of life's obstacles.
Fans attending Family MC's 18th Annual Celebration can expect an energetic performance that reflects the passion and authenticity that have become hallmarks of his music. With "How to Be a Player" and additional projects on the horizon, 2026 marks another important chapter in the artist's continued evolution.
