VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Aug. 24, 2026 – MSM Unify, a global platform connecting students, recruitment partners and universities across markets on six continents, today announced the appointment of Rishi Kapoor as Chief Financial Officer. The appointment supports the company's plans for a potential dual listing, an Indian stock exchange paired with a U.S. exchange such as NASDAQ, that it is targeting for its 2028 fiscal year.
Kapoor brings more than two decades of finance leadership across the education technology, information technology, pharmaceutical and supply chain sectors. Over the course of his career, he has led the raising of more than $135 million in equity and debt capital, successfully executed multiple acquisitions from origination and due diligence through transaction closure and integration, and played a key role in IPO readiness for high-growth companies by coordinating with key stakeholders, including investment bankers, prospective investors, stock exchanges and regulatory and compliance authorities.
Before joining MSM Unify, Kapoor was Chief Financial and Business Officer at Biodeal Pharmaceuticals Limited, where he strengthened the company's capital structure as it prepared for a potential public listing. Earlier, he spent six years as Chief Revenue Officer at GirnarSoft Education Services, the company behind the student platform CollegeDekho.com, where he led multiple equity and debt fundraising rounds and several acquisitions.
“Rishi understands what it takes to build a business that lasts,” said Sanjay Laul, Founder, MSM Unify. “He has done this before in education, at scale, and through multiple stages of a company's path to the public markets. As we expand across new geographies and prepare for a listing that reflects both our India roots and our global reach, his experience in financial strategy, capital raising and disciplined execution will be invaluable to us.”
Commenting on his appointment, Rishi Kapoor said, “MSM Unify is solving a real problem for students and institutions around the world, and doing so at a scale few companies can match. Having spent a significant part of my career in education, I understand how important strong financial leadership is in building a sustainable and scalable business. I look forward to working with the team to strengthen the company's financial foundation and help shape its next phase of growth.”
In his new role, Kapoor will oversee financial strategy, fundraising, investor relations and financial operations across MSM Unify's global markets, including North America, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, India, Africa and Australia. He will also lead the company's financial readiness for its planned dual-listing strategy, an Indian exchange paired with a U.S. exchange such as NASDAQ, giving both domestic and international investors direct access to the company.
Kapoor is a Chartered Accountant, India's equivalent of a CPA, and holds a Master of Commerce degree from Himachal Pradesh University. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, one of India's top-ranked business schools, and is a Lifetime Certified Independent Director registered with India's Institute of Corporate Affairs, a national body that certifies board-level governance qualifications.
