Altira has announced the opening of its Early Access Program, introducing a new approach to construction takeoff built around Drawing Intelligence, revision-aware workflows, and a published 4σ Accuracy Framework.

Developed for estimators, quantity surveyors, subcontractors, general contractors, cost consultants, and preconstruction teams, Altira is designed to help construction professionals move from drawings to structured quantities with greater speed, visibility, and confidence.

As construction projects continue to increase in complexity, takeoff workflows often rely on manual interpretation, disconnected systems, and time-consuming quantity reviews. Altira aims to address these challenges through an AI-powered platform that understands drawing context, cross-sheet relationships, CSI-based organization, and revision impacts.

The platform is being developed to support quantity takeoff across all CSI Divisions 01–48 while helping teams maintain organized, traceable, and estimator-ready quantity information throughout the preconstruction process.

Key capabilities include AI-automated quantity takeoff, Drawing Intelligence, real-time visual verification, revision detection and comparison, scope change assessment, quantity delta reporting, automatic requantification, and CSI MasterFormat®, OmniClass®, and National CAD Standard® aligned workflows.

A central component of Altira's approach is its published 4σ Accuracy Framework. The framework introduces a structured methodology for evaluating quantity confidence and validation workflows, providing a measurable perspective on takeoff quality rather than relying solely on generalized accuracy claims.
