LOS ANGELES, CA, Ewing Power Production (EPP), the film and television subsidiary of Mason Ewing Corporation (MEC), today announced the continued development of its growing slate of original entertainment franchises, spanning film, television, documentary, and manga.
Founded on July 19, 2023 by Mason Ewing, recognized as the world's first blind film director, producer, and designer, EPP was built on a simple belief: the stories the world hasn't told yet are often the ones it needs most.
At the center of EPP's slate is the Reytac Franchise, a multi-format universe built around the legend of a cursed 19th-century desert town near Palm Springs, California. The franchise includes "Reytac's Chronicles," a two-season drama series following an archaeologist, a businessman, and a medium racing to uncover the city's fate; "Reytac's 2 Rounds," a horror feature film starring Eric Roberts and Calista Carradine; and "Reytac Story," a manga adaptation currently in development in Japan.
EPP's slate also includes the Eli Tilmann Saga, a live-action fantasy adventure set inside the magical world of Jonathanland, and the upcoming Isabella & Dorian Franchise, the studio's next original universe. On the documentary side, EPP is producing "The Pietroforte Family: War Memories," honoring brothers Joseph and Nicholas Pietroforte, World War II and Korean War veterans.
"We don't make movies to make money, we make money to make movies," said Mason Ewing, Founder, CEO and Chairman of Mason Ewing Corporation. "Every project at EPP is built to be a world audiences can return to for years, not just a single release."
None of these worlds would be possible without EPP Studios, EPP's sister company, which has spent over a decade assembling one of the most extraordinary historical prop collections in American cinema, sourced from countries including India, Italy, Cameroon, Mexico, France, Ireland, Poland, and much more.
Looking ahead, EPP's franchises are set to anchor Madison Channel, Mason Ewing Corporation's upcoming streaming platform, designed for families, dreamers, and children of every background.
