The 18th Aurora Surfing Challenge: Honor in the Birthplace of Surfing
The legendary waves of Barangay Sabang provided a spectacular backdrop for the 18th Aurora Surfing Challenge. Pro and amateur surfers tested their mettle in the very waters made famous by Apocalypse Now, demonstrating the world-class talent that thrives on the Pacific coast.

The PHP 39.2 million facility proved to be the perfect arena for the local "Taga Baler" community to showcase technical precision. The competition emphasized the growing professionalization of the sport in the province.
