Founders Green Animal Hospital welcomes Dr. Sophie Chapman, DVM, to its growing team of veterinarians. A Virginia native who relocated to Colorado in 2026, Dr. Chapman brings clinical interests in surgery, orthopedics, dentistry, and preventive care to the East 29th Avenue Town Center practice serving Denver-area pet families.

Dr. Chapman began her veterinary career at age 16 as a veterinary assistant, a role she held throughout high school and college. That early, hands-on experience gave her exposure to clinical practice years before she earned her professional credentials and shaped the practical, owner-focused approach she brings to appointments today.
She earned her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science with a minor in Leadership Studies from Christopher Newport University in 2021, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2026.

Her clinical interests include surgery, orthopedics, dentistry, and preventive care. Dr. Chapman is passionate about building strong relationships with pet owners and supporting them through every stage of their pets' lives. She partners with owners to develop individualized care plans focused on both long-term wellness and managing active illness.
