GQ–USA International LLC (Globalquimica) Announces Publication of Scientific Article on RDV® Chemical Technology in the Journal of Energy and Power Engineering
Houston, Texas — October 11, 2025.
GQ–USA International LLC (Globalquimica) announced the publication of the technical-scientific article titled “RDV® Protonic Activation for EOR in Active, Mature Reservoirs and Marginal Wells” in the Journal of Energy and Power Engineering, a journal specializing in energy innovation and power that covers topics such as enhanced oil recovery (EOR).
This study presents original results from marginal wells and mature fields in Texas, where RDV® chemical technology (Vasoactive Dynamic Reactor) has demonstrated its capacity to reactivate production by means of autonomous protonic activation, without the need for continuous pumping or intervention infrastructure.
“This publication represents a milestone in energy innovation and advanced crude recovery,” said William Jimenez C., President & CEO of GQ–USA International LLC (Globalquimica). “The article not only provides scientific validation for the protonic activation mechanism and autogenous pressure generation in marginal wells, but also demonstrates the potential of this technology to transform mature assets into profitable and sustainable sources.”
The article documents disruptive cases from Texas wells previously certified as non-productive, where the application of small doses of RDV-00® produced increases in pressure and production without mechanical intervention. These results, validated by instrumental records, open the door to a new paradigm in enhanced oil recovery: Autonomous EOR, based on advanced chemistry with minimal operational footprint.
RDV® technology is founded on targeted protonation and controlled release of energized carbocations, inspired by the principles discovered by Nobel Laureate George Olah (1994). This approach enables molecular bond breaking, crude viscosity reduction, sand permeability restoration, and liberation of trapped hydrocarbons, generating internal pressure that drives natural reservoir flow without external energy input.
Based in Humble, Texas, GQ–USA International LLC develops simulation and application plans for RDV® technology in its core U.S. market, where approximately 760,000 marginal stripper wells are in production—400,000 producing oil and 360,000 producing natural gas. The company is also expanding to Mexico and other international markets, including South America, Africa, and the Middle East.
The company is investing in research to advance instrumentation and monitoring protocols that will consolidate this model for sustainable, efficient EOR with low CAPEX/OPEX.
“While more than a dozen technical-scientific articles have already been published on social media networks such as LinkedIn, this technical paper is the first in a series of scientific articles to be published in specialized journals featuring original research,” Jimenez added. “Our goal is to contribute technical evidence and verifiable results that drive the transition toward intelligent, autonomous crude oil recovery aligned with principles of global energy sustainability.”
