Starting from a few moments later, the registration process for the DCECE Bihar Polytechnic 2026 is expected to be live on the official website, which will no doubt be a good way for students to start their career after 10th/12th education. It is conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board and this entrance is for institutes within Bihar for diploma engineering and paramedical. As per the schedule the online application process began on 19 March 201 and end on 21 April 2026. Candidates can make the payment of their fees till 22 April 2026. Correction in Form A and Form B will also be allowed from 23 to 24 April 2026 with regard to which necessary changes can be made in the forms. The admit card is to be released on 15 May 20, the entrance exams will be held on 23 (Polycchnic Engineering), 24 May (ParaMedic).
Eligibility Criteria for Bihar Polytechnic 2026 To fill the DCECE Application Form 2026 for Bihar Polytechnic, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria. For Polytechnic Engineering (PE) Course, students must have passed the 10th class from recognized board. No age limit is required for this category. Age between 15 years and 30 years, f or myself and for Para Medical Matric Level (PMM). Candidates who want to apply for Para Medical Intermediate Level (PM) have to pass 12th in Science with Physics, Chemistry and English with Biology or Mathematicas as a group instead of Biololgy or Mathemetics.
The examination pattern is prepared in such a way that it tests candidates knowledge about the fundamental subjects. The exam will be held offline and on an OMR sheet. It will consist of 90 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for 450 marks. Each right answer will carry 5 marks, no marks will be deducted on wrong answers which is a good news for the candidates as they can attempt all questions without the fear of losing marks.
DCECE Bihar Polytechnic has three types of courses to be offered. Polytechnic Engineering (PE) has regular diploma courses which are most popular that includes Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science etc. Para Medical Matric Level (PMM) is for basic health care provider, Para Medical Intermediate Level (PM) is for advanced para medical courses - GNM, ANM, pharmacy, lab technician etc.
After a diploma through DCECE Bihar Polytechnic, students have various options for careers. They can for govt jobs ex.JE in ssc or railways. Even in private sector diploma holders are eligible to work in technical profiles. Students are also provided with option of higher studies through lateral entry to B. Tech program from second year.
