SINGAPORE — Greensafe International is proud to introduce the Safety Orientation Course (Tunnelling) for Workers, a crucial training program aimed at enhancing safety standards for all personnel in the tunnelling industry. The course is a direct response to the mandatory requirement set by the Factories (Safety Training Courses) Order 2001, which mandates this certification for all workers, regardless of nationality, involved in tunnelling operations.
The comprehensive half-day course spans 4.25 hours and is delivered through intensive classroom training. To cater to a diverse workforce, the training is available in both English and Mandarin, with a low trainer-to-trainee ratio of 1:40 to ensure personalized attention.
The curriculum is meticulously designed to address the unique challenges of tunnelling work. Participants will learn to recognize and take preventive measures against common hazards, covering vital topics such as:
General safety in tunnelling.
Understanding different types of tunnelling, including Free Air and Compressed Air methods.
Working hazards and their mitigation.
Safe operation of equipment and machinery.
Safe procedures for confined space and hot work.
The course concludes with a written test (MCQ) to assess the participants' understanding. Upon successful completion, they will be awarded a safety pass, serving as proof of their competency. A key prerequisite for enrollment is the prior completion of the Construction Safety Orientation Course for Workers (CSOC).
With a course price of just $25, Greensafe International is committed to making this vital safety training accessible to all. This course not only helps workers stay compliant but also empowers them to create a safer work environment for themselves and their colleagues.
