For the second consecutive year, Gulf University, in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, organized the event “Together Towards Comprehensive Awareness and Sustainable Security (2)”, led by the University’s Center for Community Service and Continuing Education. The initiative reflects the strong strategic partnership between the two institutions and their shared commitment to promoting community awareness and sustainable security.

The event saw wide participation from students and staff, with several Ministry departments presenting specialized pavilions, including Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence, Civil Defense, Cybercrime, Coast Guard, Traffic, Financial Investigations, and Anti-Corruption. Live demonstrations and interactive workshops provided practical training on fire safety, handling suspicious objects, and traffic awareness, offering students direct insight into national security efforts.

Dr. Marwan Melhem, Director of the Center for Community Service and Continuing Education, emphasized that the initiative aligns with the University’s vision of promoting sustainable awareness and strengthening partnerships with national institutions. He noted that collaboration between academic and security entities plays a vital role in preparing responsible generations committed to preserving national security and stability.
