Taking center stage is the beloved actress and culinary enthusiast Sheila Rusly, who brings her iconic “Sate Lilit Janda Mengamuk” to the Renaissance table. Known for its distinctive balance of smoky, spicy and aromatic notes, this dish is a bold reinterpretation of a classic sate lilit, elevated with Sheila’s personal touch. Minced meat is expertly seasoned with a fragrant blend of herbs, spices and chilies, wrapped delicately around lemongrass stalks and grilled to perfection. The result is a deeply flavorful satay with a tantalizing heat and irresistible aroma, reflecting Sheila’s unmistakable culinary personality. Diners can savor this exclusive creation on 20, 21, 27 and 28 February 2026 as well as on 6 and 7 March 2026, as Sheila personally showcases her signature dish during her special appearances.
Continuing the journey of flavor discovery, Zam Akmal introduces his latest creation, “Manja-Manja Spicy Glass Noodle”, a comforting yet indulgent dish that reimagines familiar flavors with modern sensibility. Featuring silky glass noodles tossed with tender slices of beef, the dish is elevated by a robust medley of spices, chilies and aromatics, delivering a harmonious balance of savory depth and gentle heat. Zam Akmal’s mastery of traditional Malaysian flavors shines through in every bite, creating a dish that is both nostalgic and excitingly new. Diners can experience this exclusive offering on 27 and 28 February 2026 and 6, 7, 13 and 14 March 2026, with Zam Akmal present to share the inspiration behind his culinary craft.
Beyond these star attractions, the Gempita Ramadan Renaissance Iftar Buffet presents a lavish spread of traditional and international dishes designed to transform every evening into a celebration. Interactive live-cooking stations and dessert counters add a sense of culinary theatre, while the menu is thoughtfully refreshed daily to encourage repeat discoveries throughout the holy month.
Diners begin their iftar with an inviting selection of appetizers, from sweet dates to an assortment of fresh ulam, before exploring an extensive range of Malaysian favorites prepared by Renaissance’s culinary team.
