There are some cases in which hair falls out in small patches even it can lead to complete hair loss on the scalp.
Currently There is no cure for Alopecia.There are only some medications prescribed that only promote hair growth or affect the immune system.
All these things may help for regrowth of hair but they can not prevent the formation of bald patches.

Transplantation can be done by hair grafting.In which a few strands of hair are taken out from the donor area that is frontal area ,occipital area or anywhere else from the body and then put in the recipient area.
Maximum four strands are utilised to do the transplantation.
