Once again, Newton Shows is partnering with the Queens County Farm Museum to present its 29th Queens County Farm Museum “Apple Blossom Carnival” at the museum on three weekends during the month of April.
The complete dates and times for the event are as follows:
● Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
● Sunday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
● Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
● Sunday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
● Sunday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
● Sunday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The carnival will feature a merry-go-round and extraordinary rides — including the Speedway, Circus Train, Cliffhanger, Sizzler, Tornado, and the Happy Swing — as well as games and food. Pay One Price admission includes all rides. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $21.71 per day. Height restrictions apply.
For those who want to bypass the lines, a pre-sale Fast Pass is available for $27.95 per day. Visitors can buy a general admission wristband loaded with 20 game credits for $42.51. Extra credits can be loaded for $1 each. (All prices include fees.)
“The Circus Train and the Cliffhanger are two of the carnivalgoers’ favorites,” said Mike Newton, Owner, Newton Shows. “The spring season and the mild weather help bring a festive atmosphere to the event. Plus, our pay-one-price is popular with the families because they can pay less to enjoy the day.”
This season marks Newton Shows’ 76th year in business. During that time, the family-owned and operated amusement company has developed numerous partnerships with local churches and nonprofit organizations to help them raise money through Newton Shows’ “Partners in Fun” program.
“We have worked with the same organizations year after year and they have been happy with what we have done,” Mr. Newton said. “For us, it’s more than just providing fun and entertainment for families. It’s about supporting local communities.”
“It’s been great working with Mike,” said Hua Huang, Marketing Director, Communications, Queens County Farm Museum. “With Newton Shows and the Queens County Farm, it’s a collaborative effort and we are happy to help them.”
