SAYVILLE, NY (July 28, 2025) — People will be flocking to Gillette Park in Sayville during the first weekend in August as one of the biggest summer carnivals heads to the south shore of Long Island.

The Greater Sayville Chamber of Commerce presents the Sayville Summerfest, a three-day carnival featuring Newton Show’s rides for both the kiddies and the adults, a beer and wine tent, food courts, live music, games with prizes, and craft vendors.

“It’s a pleasure to work with Mike Newton and the Newton Shows team,” said Eileen Tyznar, Immediate Past President/Administrator, Greater Sayville Chamber of Commerce and Chairman, Sayville Summerfest. “They are very professional and very well-organized.”

Among the more thrilling, heart-pounding rides are Pharaoh’s Fury, Super Shot, Rock Star and Tokyo Drift.
“We will have family-friendly rides and games of skill that the boys and girls will love,” said Mike Newton, Owner, Newton Shows. “You could not find a better location for Summerfest. Sayville is a lovely area and a great place to live and raise a family.”

In addition to the carnival, the Hon. John Cohalan 4 Mile Run will take place on Main Street on August 2, starting at 9:30 a.m., preceded by a Fun Run at Gillette Park at 8:30 a.m. On August 3, there will be a Classic Car Show on Main Street from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Festival Dates & Hours:

● Friday, August 1: 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

● Saturday, August 2: 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

● Sunday, August 3: 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Car Show from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)

Sayville Summerfest encompasses Main Street, Railroad Avenue, South Main Street, Gillette and Common Ground Parks.
