ICSI Supports Y of Central Maryland’s Annual Turkey Trot Charity 5K and Holiday Food Drive

USA – Nov’ 2025 – ICSI is proud to stand with the Y of Central Maryland as they host their long-standing Thanksgiving tradition the Annual Turkey Trot Charity 5K. For over two decades, families across Maryland have come together on Thanksgiving morning to run, walk or simply enjoy a day dedicated to health, togetherness, and giving back to the community.

Each year, the Turkey Trot Charity 5K raises close to a million dollars, directly supporting families facing financial hardship. These funds help children and parents access safe and educational Y programs such as preschool, after-school activities, youth camps, and memberships at Y family centers throughout the region.

What makes the event truly special is the community spirit behind it. The Turkey Trot brings together nearly 16,000 runners, 150 sponsors, and 600 volunteers annually all united in support of local families. Participants also donate thousands of canned food items, which are distributed to food pantries across Maryland.

This year, ICSI is deepening its commitment by not only supporting the 5K event but also contributing to the Y’s seasonal food drive, helping ensure more families experience security and care during the holiday season. As a company rooted in service, innovation, and community impact, ICSI views initiatives like this as an extension of its values the same values that guide its trusted work in IT services Maryland businesses rely on.

“They believe strong communities are built when organizations step forward, share resources, and uplift those who need it most. “Supporting the Y of Central Maryland aligns with their mission of creating lasting, positive change both through their technology solutions and through their local involvement.”

ICSI encourages Maryland residents and local businesses to join in the Thanksgiving tradition by registering, volunteering, or donating to the Y’s efforts. Whether through participation in the 5K or contributions to the food drive, every act of support helps build a healthier, more connected Maryland.

As a long-time provider of IT services Maryland companies trust, ICSI remains committed not just to strengthening technology infrastructure, but to strengthening the community that has supported them for years.
