As the leading provider of Toronto Shelter Standards training and shelter requirements certification programs, we help City of Toronto-- funded and purchase‑of‑service shelters stay audit‑ready, document‑strong, and straightened with community demands.
Our course catalogue consists of Toronto shelter standards on-line training, shelter support worker certificate training, non‑violent crisis intervention (CPI/NVCI) training, UMAB training, crisis prevention and intervention training Toronto, First Aid and CPR training in Toronto, and ODSP training programs. With adaptable delivery formats-- self‑paced e‑learning, live on-line workshops, and in‑person sessions-- we make it very easy for organizations to educate new team rapidly and maintain experienced groups current.
IDEA Training Collaborative also provides paperwork training, case administration certification pathways, crisis management training, and mental health and substance use workshops tailored to shelter and neighborhood support setups. Our facilitators bring real‑world shelter and social service experience, and every course incorporates equity, anti‑racism, harm reduction, Indigenous awareness, and trauma‑informed care.
