CM Adhikari has instructed police and law-and-order officials to monitor objectionable posts, comments, and other social media activity targeting Netaji, and to take action under relevant legal provisions wherever violations are found. He further advised that individuals responsible for such posts be told to remove the content and issue a public apology — though officials clarified that deleting a post alone will not automatically end legal proceedings; police will decide further action based on the case's circumstances and available evidence.

"Law Is Equal for All," CM Clarifies

The Chief Minister made clear that the law will not be applied differently based on a person's political or administrative position. Whether a Member of Parliament, MLA, political leader, or government official, anyone found violating the law will face action as per due process. He has asked police to investigate the matter under applicable cyber laws and criminal provisions.
